I KNOW SOME ONE CLOSE TO ME WHO SAYS HE HAS A BALL LIKE GROWTH DIRECTLY UNDER HIS TESTICLES BUT HE’S SCARED TO GO TO THE HOSPITIAL FOR FEAR OF THE WORST. I ASKED HIM IF HE THINKS IT’S SOMETHING SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED AN HE SAYS HE’S POSITIVE IT’S NOTHING SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED. IF ANYONE KNOWS THE FIRST SIGNS OF PROSTATE CANCER OR THE SYMPTOMS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I have been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and this is my hormone therapy drug.

What were your side effects?

How long did you take this drug?

What other treatment did you have?

This is a once every three months shot, to be taken no more than three times.

Along with this shot, I must take 500mg calcium and 1000mg of vitiman D. It seems that with more than three shots, brittle bones occur.

I had a biopsy done on my prostate and the results came back positive for cancer with a gleason score of 6. Further studies showed that the cancer had not yet spread beyond the prostate. My urologist recommends that I have robotic surgery to remove the prostate. I am 76 years old in comparative good health.

I am interested in hearing from individuals who have used Robotic Surgery for prostate cancer removal. I would like to know your age at time of surgery and the lenght of time E.D. was present. Has anyone returned to normal or can say they have had a full recovery? Thank you for your time!

had psa and Dr said I have in all prostate and possible outside ?wants to do surgery – I am heart

What was your result and how do you feel about it after the fact?

I believe this is a known side effect of taking Flomax. I take it for an enlarged prostate and it has been very effective in controlling that, but I notice a marked increase in difficulty achieving orgasm, especially during intercourse with my wife. This can be a good thing to a point, I can go on for a very long time, which is better than premature ejaculation problem. But often, I cannot get over the hump at all and finish. she wants me to orgasm too, so we both feel satisfied and it can be frustrating to just stop because we got tired. I can usually finish by mastubating myself, which can be fun, finish on her breasts or face, whatever, like a porn movie. Do others notice this side effect?
Well thanks for the answers but I must say I dont need advice on how to eat healthy. Ive been eating a healthy diet all my life. It’s not automatic any medical problem is caused by poor diet. I will check out the bars you mentioned as I had not heard of them

my dad is researching this surgery and i am just curious to hear what other people’s experiences are who have gone through this particular surgery. Recovery? Pain? etc. Thank you.

My father was overtreated with radiation for prostate cancer and has suffered some serious side effects. The latest is a large defect in the inner wall of the rectum which connects to the bladder and continuously drains urine. Anyone with similar problems of urinary incontinence and or suggestions?
